Inter & Anzhi Makhachkala reach verbal agreement over the sale of Samuel Eto'o

Inter and Anzhi Makhachkala have reached a verbal agreement over the transfer of Cameroon international, Samuel Eto'o, according to Sky Sport24.

The two clubs have been in negotiations over the transfer fee for Eto'o's services for the last week.

Inter was reported to be looking for 28 million euros with Anzhi refusing to budge from its offer of 25 million. However, an agreement has now reportedly been reached with the transfer figure yet to be confirmed.

The former Barcelona man has already agreed personal terms with the ambitious Russian club and is expected to earn 20 million euros from the three-year contract.

Eto'o, 30, moved to San Siro in 2009 as part of the deal which took Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Barcelona and has been a standout performer for the 2009-10 Champions League winners.

The Cameroon striker was Inter's top scorer last season, netting a total of 35 goals in all competitions, and helping the Milan club win the Coppa Italia.
